  Sophie is a real gem. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about her work. She makes it seem easy and deconstructs the goal into baby steps that anyone can achieve if they are focused and committed. She is friendly and non-judgmental, and customizes her plan to fit what is realistic to YOU, not what other people have had success with doing. I appreciate that so much about her.   Sophie is so knowledgeable and easy to talk to.   She helped me understand what I should eat and what I should avoid but was not preachy or judgmental in any way. As we talked, she took notes and made suggestions of foods I enjoyed that would help improve my health.  She always had an alternative when I hit a stumbling block.  I enjoyed meeting with Sophie and highly recommend her!  She takes insurance (mine was BCBS), so I have recommended her to may of my teacher friends!

  I was in desperate need of nutrition counseling following surgery and chemo. My oncology group and GI group had nobody to refer me to. I found Sophie, and she immediately made an appointment with me. I found her to be very well informed, and she advised me on how I could improve my nutritional intake and caloric intake. FAQs

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and will be accepting others soon. If you do not have BCBS, we can provide you with a Super Bill (receipt of services) that you will send to your insurance company and they may reimburse you.

Are appointments in person or virtual?

We provide both! Most appointment take place in the office. If you prefer a virtual appointment and want to use your insurance, please make sure to check that insurance will cover.

What about private pay prices?

What is the process?

If you are ready to schedule an appointment, you can do so here.

Once an appointment is scheduled, we will create a profile for you within our HIPAA compliant system, Simple Practice. You will receive an email about this and be guided to complete the new client paperwork before your visit.
